So you're saying there's a chance?! As the calendar has rolled into September the team has decided to male things interesting. Fresh off a 4 game sweep of the current WC team Baghdad, the Pearls find themselves only 3 games out with a few weeks remaining. Its hard to tell exactly what's causing the sudden good play from the team. Is it Joshua Koka finally settling into his new corner OF role and getting his contract locked in? Is it Taylor Barfoot building on last years rookie success with a great second half of this year? Is it Jack Nichols turning it on a bit and emerging from just being a steady force to being a star in the making? Is it Kinfu and Socrates completely transforming the left side of the infield into something fantastic? Is it the entire pitching staff finally starting to look like their ratings suggest they should? Or is it just pure dumb luck that will run out and leave us on the outside looking in?
Probably that last one...

I'm not on the outside looking in, I'm on the next continent, wondering where the hell everyone else went . . .
