The 2040 Pearls of the Season
The voters were incredibly appreciative of the work that Rubén Núñez and José Román put in this year by awarding them the BURT Pitcher of the Year and BURT MVP awards.

José Román also earned the BURT Silver Slugger award for being the best hitter at third base.

These two were not the only award winners for the Manama Pearls in 2040. Alejandro Guterríez earned the BURT Best Glove award for his stellar defense at first base, Rhett Lawson earned the same award for his work in left field, and Armando Ojito won for flying around center field.
