Today, the UMEBA announced that each team will have a AA-level minor league club. The Manama Pearls welcome the creation of their AA affiliate, the Bogota Caballeros Blancos of the South American Baseball League!
We do not know who will transition over to South America to join the squad, but speculation is that the Manama Pearls will have to pick up a plethora of relief pitchers and middle infielders to fill it up. Early buzz around South America and Colombia is nothing but excitement as the economy is ready to see an increase with the new stadium, jobs, and unity that sports provide. Some insiders believe that the #2 UMEBA Prospect, Joshua Koka will start the 2041 season in Bogota.
Pearls' GM, Dillon Lowery, has made clear that there will be no shortage of ink in the pen he uses to sign contracts, deals, or extensions. Over the course of the next few weeks, we will have a better idea of which continent players in the Pearls' organization will start the 2041 season in.
The free agency market for the entire UMEBA is active as every team must fill these new vacant spots.
