UMEBA Minor League Organizations (ranked)

The following rankings do NOT include the two new teams as they don't yet have much of a minor league organization TO rank.
So you will notice that the weights I use below are quite different than RonCo's weights. I based it on the research I did for how many career WAR were generated for different draft picks in BBA for a ten-season span. Essentially, each level up doubles the amount of points the players are worth (15 points for each player with a Pot of 70 to 80), 7 points for each player rated a 65, etc. down to .1 point for each player < 40 POT.

All players were counted if they were in the organization, less than 26 years old, and in the minors, Injured List, or International (or were in the majors only during the September call-up). The points column shows the total points for each team, the number rated 55 or better, 50 or better, 45 or better, and the rank of each team based on their total points.

I like that format quite a bit. And the weights are always open for discussion.

Are you doing anything specific with reliever ratings?

No, I want to, it is just harder to do with the way I am doing it. Interestingly, Bucharest is the only team that has players rated 75 or 80 POT (all three of theirs are, but two of them are relief pitchers). So if I had weights for 75 and 80 that would distort Bucharest's strength due to those being RPs, so having all 70s to 80s weighted basically the same as 70s helps counteract it.

BUC far and away leading this. Having three over 65 is wildly impressive.
