The Bancroft League Future Stars blanked the Burt League Future Stars in a big way. Nine different Bancroft League FS pitchers tossed one scoreless inning each allowing nine singles and one walk in the game. On the other side three different pitchers gave up runs in their innings pitching for the Burt League FS including two, two run homers in the fourth inning.

In the bottom of the 11th Lozano singled then moved to third on two consecutive ground outs. With two outs in the inning singled home the winning run with a blooper to right field that fell in front of the defender.

A Cruz two run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning pulled the Kings even with the Metro Stars at five. After a three and out by the Kings in the top of the ninth it took just two batters to end the game in the bottom of the inning. A savage lead off triple was followed by a Gomez RBI single sealed the win for Baghdad.
