UMEBA FARM SYSTEMS

Post by RonCo » Thu Jul 16, 2020 3:07 pm

I don't have time to do a full write up, but I did manage to get the UMEBA farm systems into my little system. So here's the raw data...you guys can probably talk about your teams better than I can, anyway!

Bucharest's three 80 rated relievers making that graph a little askew lol

Looks like this uses BBA relative potentials? It wold look a different with UMEBA ones. We're not just a level down. Our batter eye rating for example is very close to as good as the BBA, whereas we are far worse at contact. I don't know which one is more useful from an UMEBA perspective though.

With Umeba relative ratings, those 80's would be capped, and valued the same as all the other UMEBA 80's, and is that really a fair representation of talent?

Either way, it's interesting.

I'm using ratings relative to UMEBA... I think. :)

Not sure about that. By BBA ratings my top prospect is a 60, followed by 2 50's. I have an 80 grade prospect as my top by UMEBA rating. THen a 70, a 65, then two 60s. There's also a couple 70-75 relievers in there that are currently being used as SP's in the minors. Don't know how they are counted, but I imagne as their SP POT.

This dataset matches neither, really. So I'm not sure.

That should be fixed in the opening post. The issue was I was filtering on pitchers only. :)
