Only five games to talk about this week and while we are use to seeing more walk offs than anything else we had three blow outs and only two walk offs.

May 13, 2043
Mumbai 16 SCKA 1 BLOW OUT
Brian Sullivan scored five runs by himself in a game dominated by the Metro Stars. The Army managed just five hits, four of those from the bottom one third of their order while Mumbai four players with multiple hits including 1B Olvere who knocked in six runs. The Metro Stars outscored CSKA 8-0 in the last two innings.

Libyan 4 Baghdad 16 BLOW OUT
The Libyan Generals took another one on the chin. This one I attribute to OOTP for starting the same pitcher two games in a row. The Kings scored at least one run in each of the first six innings. The first four of their lineup went 10-18 with nine RBI and eight runs scored.

Athens 12 Jerusalem 13 WALK OFF
The Hebrew Hammers tied the game in the bottom of the eighth with a solo homer by Martinez then walked it off with the ever exciting Fielder's Choice in the bottom of the ninth. With one out and runners on first and third Wakely drove in the winner with a slow grounder to second that scored Lenoir in front of the throw to the plate.

Kuwait City 3 Istanbul 4 WALK OFF
With two outs in the ninth Gutierrez scored the winning run from first on a Bucky Dornster triple in a back and forth game. Istanbul had taken a 3-2 lead in the eighth but allowed Kuwait City to tie it up in the top of the ninth on a leadoff homer by Ripley in the ninth.

Athens 4 Jerusalem 15 BLOW OUT
Trevor Auclair took home Player of the Game honors hitting two homers, including an eighth inning grand slam, and six RBI. The grand slam came as part of an eight run inning for the Hebrew Hammers. For the game every player to step to the plate for Jerusalem had a least one hit while seven of the nine had at least two.
