UMEBA: Blowouts(FUBAR), Blowups, and walk offs Sim 4

This was a busy sim for this particular segment. We saw numerous walk offs, two 20+ run games(and a 19 run game), and one blow up.

April 21, 2043
Baghdad 8 Jerusalem 10 WALK OFF
Trailing 8-7 in the bottom of the ninth the Hammers' Lenoin hit a leadoff homer to tie the game. A single and two outs later Bell hit a 410 foot walk off to deep left field.

April 22, 2043
Baghdad 22 Istanbul 6BLOW OUT & BLOW UP
Baghdad put up 22 runs but only managed to score in three different innings putting up eight in the first, 10 in the third, and then four in the ninth. Three players hit two homers each(Tannen, Hernandez, and Nishikawa). All three also had at least four RBI lead by Hernandez's seven.

Manama 3 Libyan 15 BLOW OUT
The Generals scored in six of the eight innings in which they batted including a seven run fifth. Alonso led the charge with a grand slam and a three run homer for seven combined RBI.

Mumbai 6 Manama 7 10 INN WALK OFF
Tied 6-6 heading to the bottom of the 10th Veenman singled and then went first to third on a ground ball single to right field. He later scored on the ever exciting walk off fielder's choice when the Mumbai second baseman was late on the throw to the plate.

CSKA 2 Cairo 3 WALK OFF
Cairo's Molina lined a 341 foot, two run homer off the left field foul pole with no outs to end the game.

April 26, 2043
Bucharest 6 Libyan 21 BLOW OUT
Six different players knocked in at least two runs while five different players had at least three hits. The Generals scored in seven of the eight innings in which they batted.

Istanbul 19 Jerusalem 5 BLOW OUT
Istanbul started fast with an eight run first inning sending Jerusalem's Sanchez to the showers after just 1/3 of an inning of work. Backhouse had three of the 26 hits and knocked in eight of the 19 runs.

Kuwait City 2 Athens 3 WALK OFF
Tied 1-1 in the top of the ninth Kuwait City's Braahms doubled in Ginn for a slim 2-1 lead. Athens' Abrizio ended it with a two run homer to deep center in the bottom of the inning.

Kuwait City 13 Athens 0 BLOW OUT
Perhaps still upset over the previous night's walk off Kuwait City wasted little time smashing Athens today. Sanchez came into the game 0-3 with an ERA over eight but he pitched a complete game, shut out for his first win. Athens starter Plotz has given up 14 earned runs in his last 3 2/3 innings pitched.
