Walk-off Watch 2038 Sim #15

The Walkoff Watch Terminology

balkoff When a pitcher balks in the winning run.
derpoff When a pitcher walks in the winning run, hits a batter with the bases full, or the winning run scores due to a wild pitch or error.
200-proof walkoff When the home team scores in the bottom of a previous inning to extend the game and then scores with a walkoff in a subsequent inning.
pimpoff When the home team scores a walkoff following the visiting team tying the game to cause extra innings (or more extra innings) or scoring what would have been the winning run if the home team hadn’t responded.

Sim #15 Team and Player Highlights
- All-star week shortened the amount of games so only 1 walkoff
- All-star game itself ended in walkoff. Cairo's Bob Hernandez hit a single in the bottom of the 10th off of Mumbai's Rafael Cruz.
- Bucharest's Ephrem Lacchelo was not content with his pair of losses last week as he is now tied with Manama's Bill Brock for the Silver Goat.
- Bucharest's Ephrem Lacchelo's name is still sweet.
- Cairo still sits at an .875 walkoff win % which is tops in the league
- Bucharest now joins Manama and Istanbul in the cellar with a not very good .333 walkoff win %

Seems like Cruz should get some kind of special citation for gacking up a walk-off loss in the All-Star game!

I thought about it but it’s not a real game. Still I put it in the notes just so it’s “on paper” somewhere if it’s ever something someone needs to know.
