# A true compiler and iron-horse (even by the standards of his era), Bodeen was someone you could roll out there every 5th day, making a whopping 635 starts over the course of his 23 years. He was also incredibly proficient at picking up decisions (on both sides of the ledger) as his 233-228 record attests. One of the leading mortals (non-steve nebraska division) when it comes to punchouts, Bodeen likely has an uphill battle to climb given that he never managed to make an all-star team over the course of his career.

Yeah he's tough. Seems wild he didn't make an AS game or win a Nebraska in the mid 90's. Looking, the winners were strong but he should of won in '97. After that year, he wasn't more than a mid-rotation guy and that's a stretch in most years. The lack of awards make him a no for me and that's sucks since he deserved at least one.
