# An elite gloveman at the hot corner who was pretty serviceable with the bat as well, Fontenot falls just below the average 3B in many categories, but given that the bar is absurdly high in this league for 3Bs he would certainly be a worthy addition, and a very solid representative for the offensive side of the veterans committee candidates this year.

Not even the best 3B to play for Calgary. Wasn't he one of the first guys to get over $20 mil for a season?

I think he left right before I took over Calgary. I took over after the draft and we had a bunch of comp picks.
