It's hard to think of Mark Dempsey without thinking about New Orleans, and vice versa. Solid hitter, brilliant in the field as a young man and workable as he got older. The Hot Corner seems to be a bit of a tough sell for BBA voters, and his "Standards" say he's got a bit of an uphill climb. I'm going to be interested in this one.
