Steady, reliable, professional, Dan Leonard showed up and played well enough to finish with 2800 hits and ran well enough to finish with over 400 SB. I'll let Randy come along and say how often that's happened. It won't be many. Leonard, as a first baseman who could run, also had the honor of leading the league in triples a couple seasons. He was a stalwart on a lot of really good Calgary teams, then, after a brief sting in the San Antonio sunshine, returned to Canada for a 50 game stint.
