# For a lot of years, Esteban Velasquez was one of the nastiest left-handed relievers in the league, and for a couple seasons in Seattle especially he was nearly untouchable. If a guy like him can get in, Velasquez is the Alpha Dog, but until then I think a reliever with "only" 302 saves and 931 IP is going to have a hard time making his mark.

Go ahead, prove me wrong.

Yeah he was good but I feel like the elite RP's pitched more often than him since I've been in the league, which was 2 seasons after his debut. He's a no for me.

We couldn't elect Sanguanicco, so why would we elect Esteban? Sad but true.
