# Solid little pitcher for a lot of years, made most of his mark in the bullpen, with 401 of his 607 appearances coming in relief. Played for five teams across his career. While I admit he was a sloid player and I'm enjoying looking back at him, I've got to figure he's on the ballot because of a relative or close friend is in a position to influence the election committee. Your mileage my vary, though.

He deserves to enter the HoF (as long as he wears his Wichita uniform). Wichita deserves something to lift their spirits from the shit mess they’re in

Heath Rockefeller and Ken Howell are the gold standard for HOF pitchers who were both starters and closers throughout their career.

Rin ain't them.
