# It's probably fair to say that at times during his tenure in the BBA, Tavio Ciccolella was one of the league's most favorite personalities. He was rarely dominating, but often good, and the bottom line is that his rubber armed nature meant a GM could tell him to "drop and give me nine" and Ciccolella would just shrug and go nine innings no matter what. He got a late start in his BBA career after playing in the EBA for awhile (including winning an EBA championship). Played most of his career in Des Moines, but shuffled between six or seven teams as his career wound down. Led the league in innings pitched in 2033 and 2034.

Rumors are he's retiring to become a stunt man in sports films.

Personally, I can't see him in the Hall of Fame, but I also can't see a conversation about the story of modern day BBA pitchers without him having a segment.

Nope. Though a good pitcher to have on any staff. Bullpen saver.

Here is where Tavio Ciccolella falls on the list of modern pitchers. I defined modern as anyone who spent the majority of their career after 1995. There was a big shift in pitcher stats around that point so tough to compare some of the older guys.
