This is an interesting one. Very good in a short career and 2 Nebraska's. Hmm..

For some reason my write-up of him got cut off. Bottom line, he was a major star for awhile and now serves as exhibit A for why I love that Recte does this. I never knew he existed until now...and now I'm a lean to yes.

I went ahead and gave him a yes for the reasons you said.

Daffy is one of the most influential players in Monty history because it was his ridiculous contract during his Nebraska-esque peak years that finally broke the dam of popular opinion that the finances in the league needed an overhaul. Much like Megaphone, he might deserve an induction even beyond on field production for league lore reasons.

His production is pretty damn insane. As for the short career, I do think it matters what happened. If he was forced out by injury, I'd be much more likely to vote for him than say if he just got crappy no his own or left to pursue a career as a barista.

i said on the correa thread if you are going to have a short career you need to be truly dominant for me to even consider you. MacNeill was, and got my vote accordingly.
