Hall of Fame Candidate Thread: Chris Lee

Post by RonCo » Tue Aug 28, 2018 8:57 am

Here's the place to talk about the career of: Chris Lee

Starting Pitcher

Active Career: 2017-2034 (18 seasons)
191-162, 3.75 ERA, 3242 IP, 1931 K 1.24 WHIP, 51.6 WAR
Landis Champion 2025, 2028
4-Time All-Star

Hall of Fame Metrics: (average HoF)
JAWS: 48.8 (72)
Black Ink: 3 (34)
Gray Ink: 83 (162)
HOF Standards: 29 (49)
HOF Monitor: 39 (125)
# Lee spent most of his career in Hawaii, winning a Landis there and with Huntsville. He was a workhorse who kept the ball on the ground and worked late into games. Certainly worthy of discussion, but it's a gaudy class to try to stand out in, and while he's a lock for the Tropic's HoF, Lee's standard tests and counting numbers aren't where others are.
