He's got the counting numbers, he's got the advanced metrics, and he's got the standards (that black ink says he rarely led the league in various categories, but the smashing gray ink says he was pretty much always in the mix).

If there's a better center fielder who's ever played the game, they're not much better than him.

Well, it's either him or Juan Escobar. Escobar isn't done yet, so it's still kind of up in the air.
