Yeah, that's a good point. I really hit the jackpot with Gonzales, not only is he an amazing player but his intangibles are off the charts. Given his loyalty, I hope to keep him around for cheap for his entire career, and he'll be a coach in the organization forever after that.

Mick is a great hitter having a great year. Nice to see that Gonzales isn't the only "late bloomer" kicking butt these days. It's easy to overlook them when every year there's some new 20 year old putting up 10 WAR.

Agree with Ron on both counts. Definitely an enviable store of talent at catcher.

I was also going to make fun of you for your 3-7 record against Omaha, but I'll skip that since LBC is 3-7.

It's gotta be tough for a kid who grew up on the beach in southern California to adjust to life in Yellow Springs, Ohio...

I'll probably jinx it by saying this, but LBC has had great injury luck with pitchers this season. We lost Colbert early on, but I wasn't really happy with his performance anyway. And Trujillo's injury doesn't seem to be serious.
