All baseball stats tell stories. All of these stories are true, but some of those stories are more true than other stories. And some stories are more true at one time than they are at another.

It's like all stats--you need to understand its context to determine what it's saying. In that sense, WPA is not "accurate" ... it just tells a story that has some level of value, depending on what you're trying to look at.

Injuries are one of the main reasons why the "put all your eggs in one basket" is a high-risk approach.
