Has hit 12 homers already and is only playing about half the time. I have 6 guys that I can start in the outfield so he is...

Re: 2015, Ammy Draft Chatter
I took SS Jonathan Archer (8/8/6/3/6 Talents) with my pick because Louisville took the lefty SP I wanted right before. :furious: Archer is ready to play right now and might be better than my current starter John Moran (6/8/7/6/6 Talents). Trying to teach Moran some 2B this Spring, the two would make...

Re: 2015, Spring Training #1 Chatter
3 guys hurt running the bases. We're not sure if our guys are uncoordinated or if we have a problem with one of the groundskeepers. As a result we are now requiring ballet lessons for all of our players and we fired a guy on the grounds crew that loop too much like Al.

Not getting Sim emails
I haven't gotten the last 2 sim emails, the preseason and Spring Training #1. Getting draft updates fine and sim emails from BBR fine. Not in spam filter.

Most of the top batters also come with really nice gloves.

Re: Tales of Plunder 2014-6 Fences Moving In?
Elliot Field and Fox Mulder just **** their pants. Well their stats might take a hit, but the goal is to get more W's. I'd rather win an 8-7 game than lose a 2-1 one. We'll see how it works out. I've had rotten luck (or lack of skill) with developing young pitchers so we are going to go hitting all...

Re: Tales of Plunder 2014-2 Hawaii deal 2 yrs Later
Also, btw, if CGY wanted to move Berrios+Acheson today I think they'd get AT LEAST equitable value of Vogel+Craiggie... even if you're someone whom thinks highly of Vogel. So, like Brett said, it didn't work out how they wanted it to (ie. team success), but the trade still slants towards CGY in a v...

Calgary spends 20 PP to convert John David Busfield to a reliever. Please keep the fastball and the curve.

Yeah I hate converting him because he looks like a usable starter on paper, but he has generally been a disaster in that role.

Calgary Looking for RP Conversion Advice
I'm looking to convert one of these guys to a reliever. I've done it twice before with poor results both times, so I am looking for some input. So who would you convert from these guys? John David Busfield (10/7/4 Ratings) - The righty has never been able to stick in the rotation. Weak spot is 4 in ...

Tales of Plunder 2014-6 Fences Moving In?
Rumors Swirl in Calgary We are hearing rumors that Calgary is considering drastically moving in the fences. While the team has several big bats on the roster such as Terry Cochran (8/8/9/7/4 Ratings, .294/.368/.508, 27 HR, 107 RBI), Skookum Mason (7/8/8/7/5 Ratings, .256/.345/.463, 29 HR, 84 RBI) a...

Tales of Plunder 2014-5 Who's Gone?
Who's Leaving Calgary? After another disappointing season, the Marauders will be saying goodbye to a few of their players. Definitely Gone Dwight Ferris (6/7/7/7/6 Ratings, .240/.326/.445, 12 HR, 39 RBI) - After 4 seasons the team will part ways with the 2B/PH. Ferris never produced enough to justi...

Tales of Plunder 2014-4 Another Year to Forget
Marauders Fail to Reach .500 for 4th Straight Season The Calgary Marauders finished the season at 76-86, 10 games under .500 and a measly 4 game improvement over last season. The team showed improvement both at the plate and on the mound, but too little to make much impact on the team's record. Off...

Re: LEAGUE VOTE: Reduction of Rule 6 Cost
I like the rule change but I think the main reason for the lack of interest last year was there just was a lack of available talent. I fear that will be the case again this season.
