Re: 2013 Hall of Fame Final Tally
Hunter and White should have been slam dunk guys. Can't argue with this. I actually had White THIRD, after LaSalle (1st) and Labrie (2nd), and Hunter 5th - but Hunter couldn't have possibly fallen below 5th. McKinley Washington if you're wondering. If you're the best in your generation at what you ...

Re: 2013 Hall of Fame Final Tally
It's interesting how spread out the #15 spot was. Only five out of the fifteen weren't considered the worst candidate in the bunch.

Re: Governing Board Change
If he's going to relinquish his most important duty, the Scarlett Johansson picture posting, I'll have to pick up the slack. Tim, just more work for me, ya know?

If you get a chance, definitely read the message "League Control Named GM." Good for a belly laugh.

Re: 2014, Sim #5 Chatter
And Carolina went 5-4, but dropped from the third worst team in the Frick to the second worst. And three of the wins were a sweep against Marquette (who IS the weakest link). And we lost Jimmy Brennan and Mike Carlton. Is it 2015 yet?

Re: Governing Board Change
This is obviously all Tim's fault. Wasn't he supposed to be managing the League Directors? Shame, Tim, you had to know that Al would wreck Hawaii, disappear on a moment's notice and delete all those posts. The signs were all there.
I guess we need a new (much, much better ) JL Director.

Actually, I agree - I think you should give all of Al's costly players to Madison. I'll take his prospects. And Daniel Silva.

Though I'd be thrilled if you rolled it back. I lost Jimmy Brennan and Mike Carlton.

Wise Kraken 4.1 Spotlight on Steve Burnett
Catcher Steve Burnett was purchased from the Valencia Stars last year, and from the minute they got him, Carolina intended to start him at catcher in 2014. Burnett was well-regarded defensively, but few other people gave him a chance at the plate and the Kraken were thought to have a huge hole at ca...

Wise Kraken 4.0: Kraken Half and Half Against League's Best
The Carolina Kraken knew they had their work cut out for them in this sim. The schedule was brutal: one more against defending champion Baltimore, four at Atlantic City, three at home against Montreal and two at New Orleans (series concludes Monday). Happily, Carolina navigated this horrifying sim t...

Re: The Outlaw Chronicles 2014-7 Sim #4
I think that the biggest early problem you had, weirdly, was Rigsby and Sheehan - they're supposed to be superduperstars, and they were just playing fine.

Re: Top 5 Lineups of 2014
Quoting from my own piece on the Montreal/New Orleans series: "Duane Whitley has forgotten as much about hitting as Bartolo Melendez knows." Man got top billing all over that preview. In this year's Frick preview: "There's not a lot to be said that hasn't already been said about Montreal: their offe...

Carolina Trade Block
Lots of stuff available. Interested in acquiring an outfielder or prospects or pitching. It's almost the trade deadline. I would also potentially be interested in moving some of my medium-level pitching prospects for hitting prospects, if that interests. I have a lot of moderate pitching prospects a...
