Re: Frick league Minor League Organizations Ranking
This is an interesting look. I also like the separation of relievers. I enjoy parsing out the future in the minors, especially with the current talent distribution. Five tool position players are extremely rare right now. I’m going out on a limb and stating there are fewer than three players per po...

Frick league Minor League Organizations Ranking
Awhile back, I did a post on UMEBA Minor League Organization rankings . Now that I am in the BBA, and since the draft is coming up, I thought I would do a "pre-draft" version for BBA. In this post, I will focus on the Frick league. I plan to do another on the Johnson league, but since I am in the Fr...

Re: Sox Scoops 46:004: Jim "Hatchet" Cox takes over as GM
It seems to me that there are two ways to build a minor league system. One way is to build "winning" teams in the minors: get a lot of "almost-major-league" type players that have already reached their potential and will never be more than a replacement level player in the BBA. This can garner a lot...

Sox Scoops 46:004: Jim "Hatchet" Cox takes over as GM
April, 28, 2046 Well, it didn't take long for the new GM to make his mark on the minor league rosters for the Black Sox, and he has earned a new moniker in the process. Yesterday, the new GM flew into Chicago from his previous home in Bucharest, Romania. And he lived up to the reputation of that tea...

2046:06 Impale U Me, Baseball!
Abraham Ganz column, Apr. 28, 2046: "Impale: U, ME, Baseball!" Well, I am in mourning. We found out the news just yesterday: the GM of Bucharest is moving on to coach the Chicago Black Sox in the U.S. of A. We wish Mr. Cox the best in the U.S. One thing is sure, whoever becomes the new GM has a grea...

Re: GM Change, Chicago Black Sox
Thank-you all. I am honored and overwhelmed to take over one of the most storied (in more ways than one) franchises in BBA, I just hope I can continue the fine tradition in Chicago. In Chicago, there are two franchises for the ages: The Bulls during the Michael Jordan years, and the Black Sox under ...

Re: Piranha Bites: 46.05 - Fans' Petition to the League: Let's Move Now to the Post-Season!
I mean, yeah, the NFL only uses 16 games to decide results, why should baseball require 162? Maybe you should petition the player's union to declare a season-ending strike. That should take care of it. Good luck at any rate. Your team could well "surprise to the upside" this year. But, if you want t...

Re: Mumbai Insider #1
I wish you the best of luck with Santiago Perez. He is going to be a quality starter for you and I now fear that by the end of the year I may regret the trade if you pass by me to win the BANC pennant. You have done a fantastic job improving the team in the short time you have been here. When I came...

2046:05 Bucharest stays relevant past this season.
Abraham Ganz column, Apr. 21, 2046: "Impale: U, ME, Baseball!" Well, Bucharest's season may have gotten off to a rocky start (9-10 after 19 games), but we know this team is just too good not to make the playoffs. True fans, never fear, the season has almost 90% remaining. Speaking of which, Buchares...

Initial analyses from 2045 BBA Season Statistics
At the end of last season, after the playoffs, I exported, separately for both BBA and UMEBA : 1. All the ratings (pitching & fielding) for all the pitchers 2. All the ratings (hitting & fielding) for all the batters 3. All the statistics (pitching & fielding) for all the pitchers for 2045, overall,...

UMEBA Minor League Organization rankings --- beginning 2046
I did it the same way I did in my last posting, except that now I have broken it out for relief pitchers separately from all other players, to get more useful results. This includes all players less than 26 years old that are not currently in the majors (including International Complex) after the fi...

Re: Two players on waivers for Bucharest that will certainly go to somebody on Saturday sim
Just to note, I put a substantial priority on pitchers (particularly SPs) in any trade discussion here as I have SO many position players in my minor leagues, but actually am pretty limited when it comes to good pitchers at the lower levels.

Two players on waivers for Bucharest that will certainly go to somebody on Saturday sim
So, guys, in addition to Ares Papadias https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/news/html/players/player_30237.html, there is also Santiago Perez https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/news/html/players/player_35042.html . Both of these players are on waivers, and will go to best offer before next sim. Sant...
