Re: What the hell?

It wasn't supposed to do that. Will be fixed next chance I have to spend some time on it, which is likely Sunday night. DONT PANIC. I don't know if my market size was really meant to drop, so look into that, por favor. Well, where this is concerned I don't know that we want the Commissioner to inte...

Re: Bandit Post 3.4: Minor League Success Stories

Glenn Hall's not ready. Shaffer just hit 4 control; Wise was injured last year so I gave him the year in A ball. The latter two will be in AA next year. he has a 4 but its on a 1-10 scale. Larry Brew is my 5th starter and he only has a 4. He'd have rocked AA. I can see the value tho of holding him ...

Re: Long Beach Press-Telegram - 2004 on the Farm

if it makes you feel better, so far in OOTP 13 the drafts are way, way deeper. You have guys in the tail end of the second round that are still 4.5 to 5 star prospects. So you wont have to suck so bad to get good draftees. Altho that means we really need to get on the same page as a league come draf...

yup. hes older but hard to find someone to replace him. Its an incentive heavy contract with some outs for me if he falls off a cliff.

Re: Question

i have voided a few team option years and while u can negotiate with them, its not a high success rate. Most of my guys got angry and refused to negotiate.

Cali's Players of the Month September 2004

California (85-77) caught a little fire and went 17-9 record this September but it wasnt nearly good enough. Vancouver captured the division crown yet again and this time the wild card was out of reach as well. After 2 straight Landis appearances, Cali will be watching the playoffs from home. The gu...

Cali's Players of the Month August 2004

California (68-68) turned in a respectable 15-13 record this August. Vancouver is still just out of reach and with Omaha surging it looks like Cali will miss the playoffs this season. The guys below are largely responsible for righting the ship and getting Cali back to its normal winning ways. Start...

Well now that the season is over how do you feel about our Orm, Mooney for Poc trade? I love what Poc did for me but Orm really did well for you and Mooney might just be pretty good too.

Cali's Players of the Month July 2004

California (53-55) turned in a disastrous 11-16 record this July. Vancouver ran away with the division and any sort of comeback at this point will need a small miracle. Injuries have derailed the team but at least the guys below allowed us to miraculously win any games at all. Starter of the Month: ...

Cali's Players of the Month June 2004

California (42-39) turned in a 13-14 record this June as they slipped a bit all month long. The guys below were pivotal in not letting any losing streaks get totally out of control. Starter of the Month: Steve Taub In 6 games started he was 4-2 with a 1.55 ERA in 46.1 IP. He notched 35 K's to go aga...

i did not intend that to be a jinx. I was just thinking out loud that it would be neat to have a Hall of Fame for GM's of our fine league.

Re: Does it seem weird that DVD is not a Type A or B free ag

its not a typo because i had to cut him. He still had like 3 years at an escalating price heading well north of 12 mil. While i am incredibly pleased by his performance as a Crusader, he has been lumping and is no longer an elite closer. So i released him. I don't get any compensation for cutting hi...

Re: Johnson League DoubleDay Series Preview

I think it has a lot to do with the slower player development we had and the initial talent glut. my studs are starting to show their age and once teams like Madison, Vancouver, and Baltimore follow suit the JL will see some fresh blood.
