Fresh Off UMEBA Title, Gibson Named New GM in Madison (2039.21)

In what is becoming a regular occurrence, the most recent GM of the Mumbai Metro Stars of the UMEBA has been plucked up by a BBA squad. This time the lucky candidate is Will Gibson, a former physician turned Brewster GM. Mr. Gibson's story is a bit of unusual one, as he found himself tired of doctor...

Re: 2039-2040 Offseason Calendar Updated!

What is the rule 6? I have heard people talk about it but don’t really know what it actually is. Rule 6 Draft wrote: Beginning after the 2039 Landis... The UMEBA Player Rights Draft takes place during the BBA championship series and consists of one round. It uses the same draft order as the upcomin...

Metro Stars Fight Back from 3-0 Deficit, Defeat Impalers to Advance to United Cup (2039 - #19)

In one of the most thrilling playoff series ever, and almost certainly the best series the UMEBA has seen in its short history, the Mumbai Metro Stars came back from being down 3-0 to beat the Bucharest Impalers and advance to the first United Cup in club history. To kick off the series, both teams ...

One of the problems with doing any kind of preview is that you have to make some assumptions for the other team(s). I was worried I would be off on your rotation but I gave it my best shot

Re: cannot find playoff roster or playoff pitcher/lineup settings

That's the big issue with not using playoff rosters. You're forced to DFA/waive/release players when you shouldn't have to do that.

Mumbai vs Bucharest Position-by-Position Preview (2039 Playoffs)

C Jose Romero / Honorio Queixada vs Alberto Padilla The Metro Stars have had a bit of a predicament this season, with two excellent catchers on the roster since trading for Jose Romero. Queixada is the far superior defensive player, but Romero is generally regarded as the better hitter. Both player...

my team is proof that defense doesn't quite matter yet. It will soon, but for now a murderer's row of an offense can win a title.
I'll take "Quotes That Didn't Age Well" for $2000, Alex.

Re: What will next sim cover for UMEBA?

Would it be possible to postpone the start of the playoffs for the UMEBA? Since the UMEBA playoffs are shorter, we could start them with the second round of BBA playoffs. That is, if the date can still be changed at this point.

Sorry Will. Madison had to win a few before I departed. We had a team meeting and agreed we couldn’t finish in last my last season here.
Yeah this puts me in an even more interesting situation. It'll be tough to decide which direction to take the team.
