Re: V25 Development Lab and the BBA – First Pass Review/BBA Guide
I can't wait till free agency to find out half of the free agents won't talk to Portland because they don't like the fact we ask players to put in extra development work! (This is slightly a joke haha)

Which Title Would you Want?
I think I ran a poll similar to this many years ago but we have new owners now and I'm always curious to how our owners fandom breaks down. I'm to the point now to where if just one of my professional teams could win a title that I'm a fan of I'd die happy. I'm looking at you Reds and Bengals!

Re: Morning Wood - 59.03 - Rosales Opts-Out; Becomes Free Agent
I wonder if the game knows there will be a sudden downturn in performance next year, either injury or something else, so it makes the player make a normally irrational decision. My experience is when players begin to sense that downturn they are LESS likely to opt-out. I really wonder had we transi...

Re: Graphic Representation of the Pitching Ratings Migration
A 7-7-7 is an ace and one of the best pitchers in the league. I tried to find the closest guys. Obviously more goes into than just the 3 ratings, but here are some guys.... Doug Eckhoff Luis Gonzalez Barney Lindsey Steve Warren Yoshii Takuda Id probably label those guys as anywhere from #1 through ...

Re: Graphic Representation of the Pitching Ratings Migration
So a very quick examination of what I'm finding from these graphs and players in the league, a 7-7-7 pitcher is likely a very solid #2 or #3 starter.
Would be a #1 on Portland or team's similar to mine, but a 7-7-7 guy isn't a top 15 ace pitcher but a very good one.

Re: How Do OOTP 25 Pitching Ratings Relate to OOTP 24 Ratings?
Huge help.
Granted I always have to simplify this stuff even further. It appears a 6-6-6 pitcher or something like 7-6-6 is considered average-above average pitcher now? A rating higher/lower somewhere could affect that.

Re: Player Potential in OOTP 25
Roundfield's drop sucks for me. Former 1st round pick. He wasn't a 75 player anyway but was hoping he'd at least translate into a 55 player in the new game. He was something like a 6-6-10-6-6 2B in v24 which isn't a 75 rated player in my opinion anyway, but his contact took a huge hit in v25.

Re: How Do You Feel About OOTP 25 So Far?
I've only skimmed my team but am pretty much in a fog. Financial things are usually what takes me the longest to grasp. Like why does my team have a $132 million budget but the game tells me I can only have an $84 million payroll. And why again I start with such a massive deficit. I miss the times o...
