Re: V25 Development Lab and the BBA – First Pass Review/BBA Guide

I figure struggling or frustrated doesn't necessarily mean it'll stay that way. Same with excelling. Just curious what everyone was looking at after the first sim. No worries here. Yet.

2 struggling. 4 frustrated. 3 on track. 1 excelling.
Seems to be the best one so far.

Re: V25 Development Lab and the BBA – First Pass Review/BBA Guide

How's everyone's going after the first sim? Can't remember at the moment but I'd say half the guys I put in mine are frustrated. I'd assume that won't always hold, especially if you pick the long ones. I think frustrated is the worst one so I'd hope a couple improve going forward.

Re: How Closely Do You Follow MLB?

I go to Opening Day every year and follow as close I can to the Orioles. Listen if I have the chance. I don't have cable so don't watch too many games on TV these days. I have already been to 2 games and will be going to at least 2 more by the end of May. Definitely don't know around the league like...

Re: Does the AS game fatigue players?

It would be kind of fun if we all benched our all star pitchers and the game pitched position player instead. I did realize my question may end up opening a can of worms that could lead to something like this. Which is fun until my 1B blows out his arm. With that, are injuries still on for th...

Why not? Happens in real life.
It does. Do you know if you can you get around if by setting a player's amount of days off?

Re: Rocky Mountain Oysters Trade Block

On the block *C John Adams -Salary dump. Considering DFA'ing but really don't want to just cut him. Make an offer. Not looking for much of anything. "Best" (Don't let "Best" scare you away. Really looking for an extreme flyer.) offer before 3/12/24 sim gets him. Decent option for a rebuilding team ...

Re: The Morning Glory 2058.07: 2058 IFA Class

A 26 year-old major league outfielder, a 21 year-old minor league infielder, and a 22 year-old minor league outfielder. I'm somewhere between snakebitten and hoarding in response. 26 y/o makes sense. I think when I had RonCo 's favorite player Wilson Andrade, his IF range dropped in his mid 20's. I...

Ive had three important players/prospects lump from 9 range in the last year without any important bumps. It’s been a bummer, even if I know it likely all evens out in the aggregate. Don’t really care if a org depth guy went from 4 to 5 range.
From real young players? If so, that is a bummer.

Re: The Morning Glory 2058.07: 2058 IFA Class

ugh I shoulda signed some small time guys at least. I got scared off by the high numbers getting tossed around for the star specs. maybe next year I just started offering half to some of those guys the sim or two after everyone spend their money. And even if they countered, I'd offer the in between...

Re: The Morning Glory 2058.07: 2058 IFA Class

Looks like a sound strategy. I blew my whole wad on a 9 range CF with 45 POT. Looking back on it I’d much rather have your 22 players, at least in a vacuum. I thought the middle class would be more competitive. I do say in a vacuum because they’d all have to stay in my international complex for a w...
