Re: 2065.07 - Water always finds its level

When I looked at the standings last night, I was like. "wait, where the heck did Madison go?"

The good news is that a lot of teams are bunched up, Win 2 games and you might catch 4 teams.

Re: Draft Order Mix Up

Sorry. Nothing was mentioned when I simply put a link to it on discord. I didn't say anything then, nor have I now. Just trying to point out mistakes before they become to hard to fix. This is why I hate saying stuff. Anytime I point something out I get an attitude.

Draft Order Mix Up

According to the official compensation list, Portland was supposed to have a supplemental pick for Steveland Morris. The pick went to Long Beach instead. The player drafted(Santiago Guzmán) should be property of the Lumberjacks.

Re: 2065.06 Breum's Prospect Pipeline: Opening Day Edition

Three things to point out about Keeter.... 1. He is a switch hitter, so while his ratings aren't top shelf VS RHP, half of a platoon advantage is the pitchers ratings VS RHB, which he is not. 2. His BABAIP just recently dropped from 9 to 8. He is very likely close to an 8 BABIP VS RHP 3. The guy has...

Re: 2065.05 Ranking Farm Systems Beyond the Top 100: Opening Day Edition

Given who we're graduating to the bigs. I'll happily take 11th especially since we're around that number in overall 45 or better too. IMO unless you have a stacked farm system 45 pot might be the most important category. As long as you have a solid pipeline of talent coming up, you'll be in decent ...

Small sample size but 3rd place is making me so happy even if we're 2 wins lower than I wanted to be right now (10-11 instead of 12-9).

My plan to upgrade outfield defense is working.
Smart move keeping Hartman. Looks like he is about to enter his prime.

Re: 2065 - BBA DEFENSE BY PLAYS MADE ABOVE AVERAGE

I just switched back to my last season's outfield alignment. Blair Peyton can't hang in CF, Cano Jr is totally washed up and Chao Yuan is still a DH even if he thinks he can play CF.

I wouldn't even take Marinus if he was free.

Ok maybe one scenario... If he was free maybe I'd try to pass him through waivers and if I lost him... Oh well.

Long Beach showing up. Wonder what the big changes are for them since the end of last season considering they weren’t acquiring prospects via trade.
They got two big potential IFA.

Did you try to option Corfield to minors? He might refuse but it's worth a shot. I'd hate to see him sign elsewhere.

Re: Twin Cities not as active next year

I updated the first post with my upcoming craziness. Got a good deal on moving pods. The only downside is that they take a week and a half minimum to deliver. Checked the prices of hotels. Thought about how I'd have to buy at least 3 meals a day for three people, plus find something to do for a week...

Re: Foundations: An inside look at Cape Fear's offseason roster decisions (Part 1) (2065-02)

Morris is one of my favorite BBA players. Such a team first guy. -Maybe the best defensive CF in the game. Helps all your pitchers become better. -10 Eye. Works counts and tires opposing pitchers so your big bats can rake third time through. -Captain. Helps keep entire team morale up and develops yo...

Re: 2065 - Dalliances With Doubles

I never changed our ballpark factors cause that would be... "Just like starting over" IMO gap is probably the least important of the the main ratings. Not saying it isn't important, just less important that others. So I never really built the team around it like I probably would do if it were extrem...

You guys always blow my mind with how you squeeze every ounce of talent out of pitchers. So I have no doubt that you are going to make this work. But I took a look at your staff last night and had an anxiety attack. -3 disruptive pitchers(with team captain on trade block) -4 man rotation anchored by...

Re: 2065.03 Who Wins the Atlantic?

-Charm City went from the best defensive 2B in the history of the league to Dan Uggla. That is going to hurt their pitching a ton. -Montreal and Charlotte are both rebuilding their rotations on the fly. It's rare that everything goes right in year one like that. -Cobble Hill is going to keep getting...
