I've always been of a mind that coaches made a difference, but it was small. I'm not sure that's true or not true now, but my team is pretty full on "good-not-great" kids, so I'm figuring it's time to maybe go all in on the system and see how they do. Worst that can happen is that the kids still die...

If you track it in a daily league, you'll see the first about five days are listed as something like the player "under assessment" ... which means the training staff is monitoring the player and has no assessment. From then, the tag changes sometimes daily. I've seen guys struggle and be frustrated ...

Right. The core ratings themselves should not really change heavily, at least that's the goal.

That said, they are being shifted from the 200 point scale to the 500 point scale, to the fidelity of the match could shift things on the output side a little.

I think it's saying that (for example) the 4 players that had 11 Power in OOTP 24 (and were probably all 80s) averaged dropping 2.5 points of Potential. For example:

Player 1: 80 > 80
Player 2: 80 > 80
Player 3: 80 > 75
Player 4: 80 > 75

Would average a 2.5 Potential drop.

The conversion to the 1-500 scale, and their associated performance rates, was done in a way that re-normalized the ratings themselves.

Yeah...what is the scale of potential loss? Points on the 20-80 scale?
