Re: OFFICIAL VOTE: Trade Review?

The passive aggression on that third option is dripping, lol. At a minimum it's a leading option, even if you didn't mean in that way.

You're a really fantastic debater, Ron. I mean that sincerely. You should get into politics.

Re: What is used for salary cap overage?

This statement is akin to saying "Assume people trying to mug you are not doing so." Okay, that's a bit off. But respond as though they are not trying to mug you. It's completely wrong. It encourages mugging. Ted directly responded to Ron, but I want to make it clear that I am not continuing that t...

Re: What is used for salary cap overage?

Assume it the first time. Maybe even assume it the second time. At a certain point, though, track records get established and the benefit of the doubt stops holding weight. Those that have been around awhile know others and are, in turn, known by others. People earn their reputations. I've seen them...

Re: Public Apology To Justin and Ed

I see you trying to whitewash a headache.

You've hinted at it already, but just do me a solid and say it out loud so I can move on. Public civility on the forums is more important to you than us treating each other with respect in our actions.

Kick me out of the league then, because I'm not going to stop calling a spade a spade.

Yeah, I literally just remembered the Zeitler trade as you posted this and edited my question. Thanks for the follow-up - makes sense now.

Re: San Fernando/Nashville

Signed Sixto Rivera to a minor league contract with a signing bonus of $1,900,000.

So you traded a S2 for 100K cash? Is there an underlying story here like a lost bet or something? Or a follow-up to the Zeitler trade?

Re: Des Moines/Omaha

It's a form of gaslighting, and the fact that it's probably been happening to you for real life years now must have you in a pretty off kilter head space in this regard. ... If someone knows they've taken a foot hold in your confidence it's even easier for them to take advantage of you. ... I imagi...

Re: Des Moines/Omaha

From all the comments looks like another bonehead trade again. In the past GMs felt I kept Moreland and Arreola to long and should have traded then earlier. Now I’m looking for more prospects to feed the ML and feel FA bats are easy to find, but FA pitching is costly. Maybe it is my fault not reach...

You're not so bad, Bum. Actually way more even tempered now than the TMBU (or however it was spelled), believe it or not. Personal growth is important. That's why I've voluntarily devolved into just saying one line jokes on the forums.

Re: Public Apology To Justin and Ed

These kinds of trades are detrimental to the health of the league. You did the MBBA a sincere service today by trying to curb this type of behavior with public pressure (the only medium we have available to us to exercise).
