Re: Chicago 1999.11--OH REALLY?
You know, since you keep poking... It is my solemn duty to remind you that Brew and Brady were part of the Juan Nieves deal, which I still hold was a good deal for you, and is totally irrelevant when we're talking about Kiplinger. I like Fernandez. He'll play for me. Put him in AAA for now...recte44 wrote:He's a workhorse, veteran bullpen guy. Not flashy by any means, but Fernandez would have never seen the bigs for me with that defense anyways.
I'll make my own changes when I do the sim.

Chicago sends Dicky Reemer to Vegas for Asdrubal Fernandez.
Good riddance, Dicky. I would've traded Dicky for Lou Franciscen.

Okay, here's what's been playing on my iPod lately: Matisyahu - Live at Stubb's volume 1 (not the one that just came out). I like Matisyahu for two reasons: 1). I enjoy some good reggae. 2). My primary theological interest is the Hebrew Scriptures. Combine the two and it's awesome. Adele - 21. Her n...

Re: Do you tip?
Depends. If they bring it in and drop it, then no. If it's a tough delivery (stairs, narrow passages, etc), then probably. If they do something else, like help move other stuff around or take old stuff away, then yes. What I hate is the sense that some service providers have that tipping is an enti...

Re: Do you tip?
Okay. Here is the scenario:
No stairs.
From door to living room there is no obstructions, just a straight shot walk.
Everything is cleared out of the way and all they have to do is carry it in and drop it right against the wall.

I'm having a new couch delivered today. I paid a delivery charge...do you tip the furniture delivery? I am like my dad and say, "I paid a delivery fee and they get paid, don't tip them." But I hate the weird, awkward goodbye moments when delivery people hang around or move slowly to leave hoping for...

Re: Melo or D-Will?
I cannot stand Carmelo so that is why I voted for D-Will. On the contrary, I think the Nets gave up a ton (maybe too much) for Williams.
