I feel you on playing up to potential. I have several guys who either need to step up or step out but the problem is I have to find out abd by mid year we're screwed if they suck.

Browns!
What is more absurd? Browns winning a Super Bowl or YS9 winning a Monty?
Look I will take a LOT of insults but comparing me to the Browns is fighting words.

My official count is 1 struggling and 9 frustrated.

The 1 struggling is on an easy program.
In the words of a president, I feel your pain. Same here right down to the struggling for Easy.

While I love it when the teams I like do well, that wouldn't hold a candle to being the one to bring a title to the Nine.

Re: 2058-19 End of Season Review

Newsome looks like a real beast in the new ratings system. He had a breakout year for you, which gives me quite a bit of seller's remorse, but he was just so awful in a Nine uniform. I am curious if he can keep this up or if he just had a great year and will fall back to average.

Re: 2059-1 New beginnings?

I think it's going to be a weird year for trades because people are going to be reluctant to make a deal while still unsure of what the new universe looks like. That said, I am still a bit surprised we haven't seen more so far.

Re: Charm City 2058.7 - Deadline Review

Hope Baldez resurrects his career, he should be good but recently, well... He is the poster child for the 'ratings do not dictate long term outcome' argument. I was gonna try what Dave is planning but that contract and his age didn't give me hope. He's definitely Exhibit A of stats tell the story.

my point being ratings are great but stats are where the games are won or lost. I'd take Cramer 50 over my other guy at 80.

Re: Player Potential in OOTP 25

I don't care about Cramer ratings because his stats are going to make him a great trade chip (power isn't really great in my park). What I found really weird is that other guy stayed at 80 despite being unable currently to hit broad side of a barn. So ratings are still weird, just less so.

Great job.
Thank you. I am really proud of how this worked out and how it fit with the story I'm telling. This is one of my favorite TN I've done so far.
