Slugger Shavings 2064.6 - Rinse and Repeat
The Sluggers organization and fanbase have the right to be pleased with how the 2064 season unfolded. Its first winning season and playoff appearance in a decade almost produced a division title and saw the team expertly take down Des Moines in the first round of the playoffs. The rebuild is over an...

Slugger Shavings 2064.5 - Amphibian Johnson Looks Back
"I loved it in Louisville," exclaimed Amphibian Johnson . "I miss those days. I felt like I was going to be a franchise player and get the key to the city. I met my wife there and I'm sure at some point we will come back to the area." "That kid is the best. And I don't just say that because he was m...

Slugger Shavings 2064.4 - Jose Barrera is team MVP
Jose Barrera was tired of the rumors. He was entering his second to last year under team control and knew GM BP was not thrilled with his declining performance when he should have been improving. "I know he was looking to trade me. He has other good options at first base, and I know I wasn't hittin...

Slugger Shavings 2064.3 - It's Starting To Come Together
One couldn't blame the Sluggers' fanbase for getting frustrated and tuning out over the course of the last decade. It took that long for the team to finally have a winning season again. It was way back in 2054 when the team won 94 games and last appeared in the playoffs. It was only a few years into...

Slugger Shavings 2064.2 - Will the Keymaster be the key to playoff success?
Back in 2057, the Sluggers knew exactly who they wanted with their second pick. "I was hoping he would get overlooked due to his control issues, and it turns out he was. Glad we were able to get him," noted GM BP. That pick was Vinz Clortho , a pitcher dogged by questions about his control and odd p...

Doesn't look like that insane defense is helping Mexico City make the playoffs.

Re: 2064 Who Wins the Heartland?
It is true that I got rid of the no-licking policy in Louisville when I became GM, but that sure isn't helping my pitchers. I don't think they lick enough.
