Re: Morning Wood - 59.07 - Get to Work Young Man

You have a strong young offensive core that seemed to underperform in 2058. I've taken notice.

I suspect they might stay fragile but be less fragile most of the time.

Focusing on injury rate is another strategy I’ll be following to see how it works for you.

Martinez and Stewart are so similar. I’d say you have a type.

I assume that’s just restatement to the new scale and not actual improvement.

Very logical choices that align with how I best understand to use the new feature. I feel like your team is at the perfect point developmentally for it too.

2059.02: San Fernando Annual Performance Review - Pitchers

11/7/2058 After reviewing the 2058 performance of the position players on the San Fernando Bears below is my follow-up focused on pitching. I'm going to have to get creative to figure out the formatting this one as I can't shamelessly steal it from Bob. 1st Starter: +0.4 WAR from prior season. Very ...

2059.01: Bears' Development Lab Participants

11/7/2058 Maybe if I share my 10 players in the development lab-- like Ron did --you'll consider doing the same so we can all learn about it together. 27 year-old SP Morgan Tomsett would be a poster child for this feature if not for his age. He spent the whole 2058 season in the Bears' starting rota...

Re: Graphic Representation of the Pitching Ratings Migration

Are the Gonzalez ratings as a reliever? That's how he was used last year. That's as a RP. As a starter he is 6/7/7. Probably a #3 or #4 starter. Unless he somehow improves his secondary pitch this winter. Then maybe he can be a 2/ solid 3 at worst. It is kinda crazy that there is such a huge bubble...

Re: Graphic Representation of the Pitching Ratings Migration

Jaquot Natta is now a very interesting pitching prospect. His POT rating grew to 50 as SP and he’s 5/5/7 right now in both OVR and POT. He could become a really valuable player if he can be a legit starter and a strong position player. I’m really hoping that happens. He would be a lot of fun to wat...

Re: Graphic Representation of the Pitching Ratings Migration

A 7-7-7 is an ace and one of the best pitchers in the league. I tried to find the closest guys. Obviously more goes into than just the 3 ratings, but here are some guys.... Doug Eckhoff Luis Gonzalez Barney Lindsey Steve Warren Yoshii Takuda Id probably label those guys as anywhere from #1 through ...

I’ve found it extremely difficult to trade players in the offseason. During the season is the time for trades.
