From the GM - 2047 #3 - Not My Best Foot Forward
I let you guys down. The fans. The players. Ownership. Myself. I took a wild card team and turned it into one of the worst in the league. We finished behind an expansion team, for God's sake. And, to top it all off, my big offseason swing, trading Michael Best for Liam Dalton , had the most disastro...

Re: Police issue warning about the water in two states
If Atlantic City was in Kentucky, I'd probably start to visit it. Because, let's be honest, who wants to visit Jersey?

Welcome Shawn! Though I am not a youth, I know I could use a support specialist from time to time while running my life, haha.

From the GM - 2047 #2 - Big (Injury) Trouble in Little Tripoli
Where to start, where to start? Do I start with our barely .500 record? The absolute regression of our best starting pitcher? Or maybe the major injury to our biggest off-season pick up? Let's start with that record. Coming off of a wild card appearance in the playoffs, expectations were high to sta...

Middle of the pack thanks to my tremendous fly ball defense. Now, if only my guys could handle balls hit on the ground in a much better way.....

Re: Your 2047 Mumbai Metro Stars
We’re not using a 6 man rotation. I like to run it in spring training to lessen the usage of my rotation guys. Yeah, that's why I tossed in the line about trying to figure out your back end of rotation guys. Figured it would let you decide who your #4 and #5 guys are and then the 6th guy hits the b...

Your 2047 Mumbai Metro Stars
2047 Mumbai Metro Stars The reigning 2046 UMEBA champions have decided to run it back with just about the same cast and crew, making a few small adjustments to the roster, but no major shake ups. After all, if what works isn't broken, there's no reason to go looking for a fix. Starting Pitching The...

Re: From the GM - 2047 #1 - Did I really let the Best walk right out the door?
Though this meant trading Best, the league leader in doubles, I was okay losing his bat at the corner because of the addition of Juan Dominguez by my predecessor last season. Best's numbers overall dropped compared to his first season in UMEBA, whereas Dominguez looks like he can probably replicate...

Re: From the GM - 2047 #1 - Did I really let the Best walk right out the door?
I do like a GM who’s not afraid to make some bold moves... good luck with Lorenzen. He did a fine job for me last season in Jerusalem, but I just couldn’t figure out how to squeeze him in under the salary cap... Yeah, once I knew I was moving Best for a top arm back, I started to search the FA list...

From the GM - 2047 #1 - Did I really let the Best walk right out the door?
A new seasons brings a new face to the Tripoli Piranhas. More specifically, my face, the new General Manager of the Piranha, Anthony Kates. In an effort to be as transparent as possible with the great fans of this organization, I have decided to bring you on the inside of the board room, and share w...

Re: 2047, UMEBA Draft Chatter
He looks like he will be very, very good and be up very, very quickly out of the minors.
Also, Rovanpera looks like he will turn out to be a freaking masher if he hits up to his potential. A 30+ homer guy at his peak if he can maintain it, sheesh.

Re: Tripoli and Beirut Trade
Tripoli Receives: SP Liam Dalton RP Toby Bundy Beirut Recieves: 3B Michael Best I was able to submit this trade in-game, but only after withdrawing a FA offer that would have put the team over the cap limit. Anthony, though, could not submit the trade. Do both sides of the trade need to submit in-g...
