Welcome aboard… I was a caretaker GM of the Pilots briefly a few seasons ago, and the biggest problem I had was remembering that it was “Sao” and not “San”. Good luck with that, and everything else.

Pretty much spot on. I’m hoping that Prieto, a former CF, can improve the outfield defense in LF enough for me to be able to live with Zadoyan in center. Fingers crossed right now.

Glad to have you with us, Ryan… I took a course in fencing in college, and it was a lot of fun. I wish I’d pursued it further, although I’m sure I could never have reached the level it sounds like you have.

So: if a player has all the necessary skills to play a certain position, how important is his rating at that position? For example, if a player has 8 infield range, 8 error and 8 arm, but hasn’t played a lot of shortstop, how high would his shortstop rating have to be before you’d play him there?
