Re: Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins Development Lab Showing Progress (2059.3)
I wish the dev lab wasn't so secretive and it was possible to view results beyond the team news messages and we could see other teams' labs. I think that the developers are going to add those features down the line. Something tells me next offseason is going to be smoother since there is some data ...

Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins Development Lab Showing Progress (2059.3)
One of the biggest questions that has been debated throughout the BBA is how exactly the BBA's new Development Lab philosophy is going to shake up the league. These new Development Labs are promising to transform the way that the league develops players, but what we don't know is who is going to fig...

Re: Which Title Would you Want?
To answer your question, I would rank my teams winning a title like this. 1. Twins. I'm too young to remember 1987 and 1991. Thankfully the 0-18 playoff losing streak is over, and I was lucky enough to have been at Game 1 against the Blue Jays to see it happen. Getting to attend both a World Series...

Re: Which Title Would you Want?
The Brewers and particularly the Rays are small market teams that are surviving on baseball acumen and churning young players. That's really what Billy Beane was doing in the heyday of Oakland's competitive period. Everyone focuses on Moneyball and OBP, which was good, but he also worked in a world...

Re: Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins GM Has Strange Experience (2059.2)
I agree that those would have both been bad contracts for the Robins. Be glad that you got out of those contracts. Wullenweber is done. He'll be out of the league by the end of next season. And while McNeil is a great player, he is not going to be a 40 win player. By the time Brooklyn closes the ga...

Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins GM Has Strange Experience (2059.2)
It had been a late night in the Brooklyn front office after the now infamous press conference, and Chief Baseball Officer Ben Heuring was feeling a lot better than he had over the weekend. He apologized to the Governing Board for flipping the hell out, and had resolved that he would focus on the pos...

Re: Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins Team Statement On Free Agency Processing Issues (2059.1)
I was going to pursue a storyline that I dreamed transactions were processed, and we didn't sign anyone...then I woke up and my assistant GM informed me that we didn't sign anyone. Maybe this is the BBA version of the last episode of Newhart, where I wake up next to Suzanne Pleshette and it was all...
