Re: The BBA Today #79 - You're Talking Performance Maps?

Great podcast gentlemen, and thank you for sharing your perspective on the Balun deal. Both Ron and Ted did make some great points on why I made the move. The two reasons that I think this can work is that with Ramon Martinez going down, I felt I needed to grab some help in the back end. Also, I do ...

He has been looking good so far, with the BABIP being the only concern so far. Looks like Lugo is doing well for you.

Brooklyn State of Mind: Robins Make Trade, Keep Fighting In Wild Card (2045.3)

The Robins got a couple of pieces of good news recently. The injury crisis has lessened and the Robins got two good pitchers back, and then GM Ben Heuring went out and made a trade to fortify the bullpen further. He struck a deal for Outlaws closer Aguste Balun in exchange for SS Jorge Lugo and a pr...

A Vasquez Masterpiece

It's fair to say that the defending Landis champions have had a year that has been a struggle, but they were able to have a moment to savor recently. The game between the Outlaws and Crawdads on July 27 might have gotten lost in the shuffle of games, but by the end of the game a lot of the BBA fanba...

Brooklyn/San Antonio

Outlaws Receive:
Jorge Lugo MLB
Cliff Ritter AA

Robins Receive:
Aguate Balun
MLB

Best of luck to Mike and the Outlaws for the rest of the year. Balun can be put in the bullpen as a setup guy, and Brian Dixon can be the starter at third base.

Trade Analysis: Trader Recte And Louisville Teardown

The trade deadline is slowly starting to come up, and both Las Vegas and Louisville made a move that is interesting. Before I get into the nitty gritty and offer my thoughts, it's important to remember a few caveats. First, I was not privy to any of the discussions that Shaw and Recte had in regards...

Interesting and great podcast gentlemen. The Atlantic is going to be a very interesting division, as there are a handful of teams jockeying back and forth. All I need to do is to wait until I get Legrand and Hicks back, and then I can have a full deck to work with.

So there were NO injuries in either league this sim. Does that seem weird?
Has that ever happened before? Because it seems like every sim there has been some sort of injury or setback.

Brooklyn State of Mind: Promising Start Despite Injuries (2045.2)

It is fair to say that Spring Training hit the Robins hard. With the news that Pierre Legrand going down, there was a lot of concern over the Robins. It is hard to blame people for writing off the team. After all, the Robins don't have the greatest rotation in the world, and the preseason prediction...

Re: State of the Brewster: In Regards To Trades

At the end of the day, we are all in this league because we love playing OOTP, no matter who we are or where we are from. I love this league because of the community that was built up over the years. At the end of the day, it's a game and it's supposed to be fun.

I gotta say, Mike is building something interesting with the Outlaws. The Frontier is going to be a very interesting division to follow. Of course, Paul Finebaum is probably working for the Heartland when he is not a hype man for the SEC.

Re: El Paso Chilles Move: How It Benefits More Than Just El Paso

I don't own any FM besides 17 and 18, so I can't comment on some of the newer features in the game. Plus, the social media can be a bit odd with how they react to signings. But what I like is that the board is normally fairly realistic with how they would react to how I do. But I do think that you a...
