For Cobble Hill, please place Fareeq bin Su'ud in the open LF spot vs LHP. Thanks.

Re: 2063 Johnson League All-Stars

Now I see why the Walk-off Watch dislikes Charlotte. Cobble Hill’s lone representative’s link goes to a Cape Fear player. The insult!

Note: Great job selecting. It’s never easy.

Re: BBA Today #105 - Trades by the Dozens

Great listen. Fun to hear reactions to all the trades. Thanks for doing these. One note: Woolford is signed for $2.6m next season, so Aaron is on the hook for that. I liked both Paulani and Woolford from a competitive standpoint, but felt the combined $4.6m due to them next season could be spent els...

2063.13; Cobble Hill Leads League

After winning 12 of their last 20 games, the Cobble Hill Robins sit atop the league in an extremely important statistical category -- Fan Interest +/-. Their Fan Interest increase of +4 over the last 30 days, twice that of the next best team, places the Robins far and away the most increasingly inte...

Re: 2063 – How to Maximize Gate Revenue

Thanks for sharing as it's a giant help to most (or all) GMs, and it is something you could have simply kept to yourself as a competitive advantage. What I love most about OOTP is the lack of clear min/max strategies. This seems to be one. My hope would be if you're left of T* and raise prices it wo...

2063.12; Still in Last Place

Why in the hell did you open this team news? Do you enjoy seeing me lose? Is that it? Are you one of those BBA perverts who gets off seeing guys who've had some success in this league all of sudden become nothing more than automatic wins for the rest of the Johnson League? Are you sitting in your da...

There's a certain magic in being terrible. It's not a good magic, per se. But it's entertaining (to some, anyway). Re: Analysis of the First Round of the 2063 BBA Amateur Draft

Great analysis on my pick of Claudio Confer. He'll get the dev lab treatment to play a better LF and to increase his steal/baserunning. When/if he develops, I'll be jotting his name down in the leadoff spot in Cobble Hill for a decade or more.

Now I just need to find eight more exactly like him..haha

Re: This Draft and Comp Picks

It’s really frustrating when I’m 100% sure I’m right on something, then people write things that make sense and I have to, once again, remind myself I’m not perfect.

Re: This Draft and Comp Picks

The only time I can understand the need is with a brand new GM taking over a financially poor team, which can be governed by the GB very simply on a rare case by rare case basis. I’ve yet to hear another reason where it’s necessary and beneficial to the league. Floating picks is extremely advantageo...
