Hello and welcome to the first Episode of The Strike Zone, covering all things about the Vancouver Mounties baseball team.

Well, a lot has happened in the last few weeks leading up to the end of the season for the Vancouver Mounties.

The big news for the team is the change at GM. "Change" is definitely the keyword. Within the first week of GM Gregory French taking over

we have seen the hiring and firing of three Front Office Personnel. When asked if there would be more changes on the way GM French calmly remarked, "Only time will tell...

The Owner and I had a long talk, and I can definitely tell you we are on the same page. He has given me the green light to do whatever

needs to be done to get us to the next level."

The front office is not the only place with new faces, the team has made a few call-ups as well. These young guys have really hit the field running.

Out of all the young guys that got the call-up 3B Rashardo 'Skull' Menne III has been on fire.

Rashardo is batting .343 with 10 RBIs after his call-up to the Big Show. He was 17th Pick in the 2033 Draft.

And with all the changes it is great to see the team has not missed a beat. Vancouver has won their last 5 games and are 9-3 for the month of September.

Well, we here at the "Strike Zone" wish our new GM the best of luck and can't wait to see what the future holds.

I can see a rivalry building between Boise & Vancouver. I always think it’s bad form to have a hint of bad mouthing the former GM’s policy choices. Perhaps Brett oughta hire his sacked staff and prove to Vancouver that they are the best lol.

Nothing like stirring the pot

I hope he rakes me over the coals. It'll be fun.
