Omaha confirms. I will post a ping when I decide what the heck I am doing with them.

Considering I'm trying to hold off Omaha for a wild card spot, I don't like this move at all!

ya that is a helluva haul for a guy who has been mediocre (at best) in his career so far...

Would definitely scare me more than having Nicto on the roster.

Everybody complained when Nicto was dealt for Tremblett and a minor league pitcher, but now I am getting to much for Nicto lol. His value maybe has been reexamined, or did I just make yet another great deal?

I thought the initial deal for nicto was fair, you got quite a haul here.

Kyle code for: The guy has high movement, throws ground balls, I'll have a stacked defensive infield behind him, and he'll look like a stud... Plus I traded guys that should have never been playing in Huntsville to begin with.

HAHA Does that about do it?

BTW, welcome back!

I just remember Kyle, and myself still, always favored lefty bats. I still focus on lefty bats in the draft over righties due to the amount of RHP in the league.

Unfortunately I have found myself acquring way too many RH bats for my liking due to the ratings being so much better recently for RH bats it seems.

True, but a good defense behind a ground ball pitcher will turn a lot of those walks into double plays

He's played 90% of his innings in the majors thus far with a 4 control (which would've saw him stay in AAA if he had been my prospect), having just finally hit 5 1.5 months ago. And he still has another point left to fill out there at only 22 years old. Seems a bit silly to me to be using his past performance to predict future performance at this point, but to each their own.

Exactly. He just didn't fit The Plan so he was moved. Nashville to Omaha to Huntsville in a couple of weeks. Poor bastard.

Eh. Nicto has impressive MOV, but he's never really had the strikeouts you'd want, and has had too many walks (really, just baserunners in general). I don't know if he'll ever be more than a 4th/5th; Tremblett will be up and down, but he should be able to hit .230/.300/.450 with regularity. Combine that with solid defense and he's probably close to a league average 3B (which he has been for 3+ seasons). Nicto being 22 and dealt away is a bit of a head-scratcher, but I don't think the return was bad and I made similar moves with Greenville/Jacksonville when I took over that wretched club in 2025...
